Nyxall is founded and run by Chov. The studio builds desktop tools and VRChat software, and ships every project through the same verified release pipeline.

Why it exists
Written by Chov, who founded the studio. The name comes from Nyx, the Greek personification of night.
My projects start with things I use: VRChat communities, desktop tools, and the systems that keep them working. Sometimes that means extending a companion app. Sometimes it means building a cleaner that explains what it is about to remove. The details are the interesting part.
The studio exists because software distribution deserves more care than a link to a file. Every Nyxall project gets the same treatment: a single automated release pipeline, published checksums for every file, release notes that say what actually changed, and applications that keep themselves updated.
How I work
Three commitments that decide most of the smaller questions.

Verifiable over convenient
Every release ships with a SHA-256 checksum for each file, and applications verify what they download before installing it.

Maintained over abandoned
Projects carry an honest status label, so you know what you are installing before you install it.

Quiet by default
No analytics, no third-party scripts, no advertising. The applications keep your data on your own machine.
What the status labels mean
Every project declares one of these. They are meant literally.
- Maintained and shipping. Bugs get fixed and updates keep arriving.
- Beta
- Usable and public, but still moving. Expect rough edges and changes.
- Announced and being built, but not released. There is nothing to use yet, and no date is promised.
- Finished or paused. It still works; it is not being developed right now.
- No longer maintained. Kept online for people who still rely on it.
Credit and privacy
VRCS is based on VRCX, the open-source VRChat companion by vrcx-team, pypy and natsumi, used under the MIT license. The fork would not exist without their work, and upstream deserves the credit for the foundation it builds on.
Privacy is a design constraint rather than a policy page. This site runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts (its content security policy does not permit any), and the only cookies it sets are the session cookies issued when you sign in to an account.
